About this event
We’re pleased to be hosting this informal event with the NDSU (Neighbourhood Development and Support Unit) team from Birmingham City Council.
Together we will demystify Assets of Community Value (ACV) and Community Asset Transfers (CAT). These are two different processes that are available to communities, community groups and not-for-profit organisations across Birmingham. They can make it easier for buildings and places of significance to local communities to be kept in public ownership.
You can read about ACVs in our blog post: Understanding Assets of Community Value.

Birmingham Community Matters (BCM) helps people to start and run small voluntary or community organisations. We do this through our ‘peer to peer network’, by bringing people together to share their knowledge and experience.
Our motto is: ‘Everyone has something to learn and everyone has something to teach‘.
